Ive lived in loads of shared houses and bedrooms that had to do EVERYTHING. Work from home, video editing, music producing, gym kit everywhere, hockey laundry forever, baking late at night. Over 10 years and 5 home studios later, these are the bedroom bits that actually made a difference. Stuff Ive found, tested, abused a bit, and kept.
Air Purifier
Shared houses = dust, smells, random air vibes. This thing quietly cleans it all up. Massive help when Im producing music all day or editing late. Air feels lighter, sleep feels deeper. Honestly kinda incredddible once you notice it.
Weighted Blanket
Okay okay okay I know I said I wouldnt be a weighted blanket guy. I was wrong. Super cosy, helps me switch off after gym and hockey nights. Feels like your bed is giving you a calm hug. Proper GAME CHAN GER energy.
Pillow bolster
If you share a bed or just sprawl like me, this is amazinnngg. Supports knees, back, arms, everything. Also great when Im editing in bed with a laptop. Way more comfy than it should be.
Under Bed Storage
Bedrooms get messy fast when you cook a lot, train a lot, and own too much gear. These slide under the bed and hide all the chaos. Clothes, cables, spare bedding. Suddenly the room feels bigger. Love that.
CALEX Smart Light Bulb
Lighting matters so much, especially in dark houses. Warm for winding down, brighter for cleaning or cooking prep, colour when Im vibing to music. App controlled, voice controlled, zero effort. Feels very grown up but still fun.
